Professional Experience
Patrick Klida, a seasoned litigator licensed to practice law in Michigan, has successfully represented corporations, business owners, licensed professionals, and individuals in a wide range of complex litigation matters in both state and federal courts. His practice focuses primarily on business litigation, including high-exposure claims, appellate work, and federal claims.
Mr. Klida graduated from Wayne State University Law School in 2014. During law school, he served as an Academic Research Assistant to Jocelyn Benson. Following graduation, he clerked for the Honorable Prentis Edwards, Jr. of the Third Judicial Circuit of Michigan.
After his clerkship, Mr. Klida gained diverse experience working in various legal settings, including at a prominent law firm and most recently as a partner at a Detroit-area boutique business law firm. In 2024, he joined Mantese Honigman, where he handles complex business litigation, focusing on shareholder disputes, fiduciary duties, and commercial contracts. He is committed to achieving the best outcomes for his clients by utilizing his strong research and writing skills to protect their financial and legal interests.
Mr. Klida has been consistently recognized by his peers as a “Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch” from 2021 to 2024 in the areas of Appellate Practice and Commercial Litigation. His notable achievements include successfully litigating federal constitutional claims, securing significant settlements in commercial disputes, and obtaining summary judment in multiple high-profile lawsuits across various industries.
