Paul J. Tahan, a trial attorney, concentrates his practice in the areas of business litigation, intellectual property litigation, and class actions. Over the course of his career, Mr. Tahan has tried complex cases in state and federal courts throughout the country, as well as in front of the United States Patent Trial and Appeal Board. He has recovered, via verdicts and settlements, more than a quarter of a billion dollars on behalf of his clients.

Mr. Tahan specializes in complex, high-stakes civil litigation. He has extensive experience in claims for breach of contract, fraud, antitrust, and breach of fiduciary duty. Clients seek Mr. Tahan’s expertise in prosecuting intellectual property matters, including patent, trademark, and copyright infringement.

Mr. Tahan began his career at a nationally recognized boutique litigation firm located in St. Louis, Missouri. He thereafter joined Mantese Honigman, PC’s St. Louis office in 2023. Licensed to practice law in Missouri and Illinois, Mr. Tahan is also admitted in a number of federal courts. Mr. Tahan was recognized in the 2023 and 2024 editions of Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in America for his work in the areas of Intellectual Property Litigation and Mass Tort Litigation / Class Actions. Mr. Tahan is additionally one of the small group of attorneys recognized as Super Lawyers’ Rising Stars for 2023 and 2024.

As an undergrad, Mr. Tahan double majored in Accounting and English, and graduated magna cum laude from Rockhurst University, with a degree in Accounting. He attended Saint Louis University School of Law on a full tuition scholarship, where he received his law degree cum laude.

While in law school, Mr. Tahan was hand-selected by the Dean to act as a teaching fellow for a former United States Ambassador. Thereafter, he acted as teaching fellow for the Dean. Mr. Tahan was as well an editor on the Saint Louis University Law Journal and a teaching assistant for Legal Research and Writing. Mr. Tahan is a former adjunct professor at Saint Louis University School of Law where he helped coach its trial advocacy team to a state-wide championship.

Mr. Tahan lives in St. Louis with his wife and their golden doodle.
